Eighteen years ago 1984 , we started on a brand new journey together, knowing in our hearts it was meant to be.
You truly were and still are my best friend and the man I truly love.
We knew it was not always going to be an easy journey and a popular one with some others. Our love for each other would be tested many times over by obstacles put in our way by others.
We were able to meet all those obstacles head on because of our strong love for each other, proving to anyone that thought we would be beaten that our love for each other could not be shaken by others.
We must live a very quiet life, due to the circumstances of health problems, but even this cannot destroy our love, compassion and being best friends. We are together and that is all that matters.
We learned the lesson of getting on with our lives well, it is sad that others can not learn this lesson. Life is so short we must live each day to the fullest.
I close this with all my love for the rest of our life together and for all the world to see.
