Cool Whip Salad
1 package Lime Jello
1 cup boiling water
(Mix and chill until slightly thickened)
Add  1 small can crushed pineapple
Add 8oz cool whip
Beat and place in Jello mold..
Orange Jello and mandarine oranges may be substituted.
Drain ornages - Not necessary to drain pineapple



Kentucky Fried Chicken Coleslaw
8 cups finely chopped cabbage (about 1 head)
1/4 cup shredded carrot
2 tlbs.minced onion
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teas. salt
1/8 teas. pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 & 1/2 tlb. whie vinegar
2 & 1/2 tlb. lemon juice
Be sure that the cabbage and carrots are chopped up into very fine pieces (about the size of rice grains)
Combine: sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonaise, buttermilk, vinegar and lemon juice in a large bowl and beat until smooth. Add the cabbage, carrots and onion; mix well.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving; serves 10-12
Deserts
Florentine Salad
1/3 cup vegetable oil                       Dash of pepper
1/4 cup wine vinegar                12oz spinch,torn into bite size pieces
1/4 teas. salt                               1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
1 pack sweet & low 

Mix oil,vinegar,salt and pepper and sweet & low in salad bowl. Add spinach; toss until leaves are well coated.  Sprinkle with egg. 3 servings                          


Macaroni Toss
7 ounces uncooked elbow
or shell macaroni
1 package (10-oz) frozen green peas
1 cup cubed Cheddar Cheese (about 4oz)
1 cup sliced gherkins
3/4cup Hellman's mayonnaise
1 medium onion chopped (about 1/2cup

Cook macaroni as direct on package.  Cook peas as directed and drain.  Mic macaroni, peas, cheese, gherkins, mayonnaise and onion; sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Cover and refrigerate at least two hours.
